About the Role

The Office & Accounting Support position is a hybrid role, where you will be performing tasks related to accounting and others related to office management. This includes several administrative and routine tasks within standard, well-defined deadlines.

As an Office & Accounting Support your duties generally follow defined policies, directives, and procedures; nonetheless, you will also have the opportunity to improve procedures in the different areas where they are not yet matured, such as expense management. You might also get involved in audit or any other business cycle mainly related to accounting and office management.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Monthly Reporting Package Provide support to the Financial Accounting team.
  • Perform administrative tasks including checking/entering supplier invoices/credit cards/expense reports making journal entries and bank entries.
  • Updating Cash Flow (Suppliers and bank part).
  • Push the customer for payment of due invoice and then entering into the company’s accounting system.
  • Process payments such as invoices to suppliers, employee reimbursements and salary payments to employees accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Manage corporate credit cards, expense management system and organize working trip of the employees (corporate).
  • Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Update and maintain corporate files and records both, physical and digital.
  • Organize basic office operations such as, stationery, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, furniture, bills, filing, data entry and errands.
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services.
  • Provide support in the organisation of company events, i.e. booking venues, accommodation, etc.
  • And many more administrative tasks that may arise!

 

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in similar roles is a plus.
  • English language
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Accountability, should enjoy taking ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, results and deadline driven
  • Good communication skills, able to communicate with employees at different levels of responsibility.
