MANN+HUMMEL to Present How It Partnered with ToolsGroup to Increase Fill Rate and Cut Inventory

BOSTON, June 11, 2019 – ToolsGroup, a global leader in supply chain planning software, today shared details of its participation in the Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference, taking place June 17-19 in Barcelona.

Gartner EMEA Supply Chain Executive Conference is the world’s most important gathering of supply chain leaders. Disruptions large and small confront today’s supply chains on a daily basis. At this year’s conference, chief supply chain officers and their leadership teams focus on how to recognize the impacts of disruptions and create transformational strategies that empower the organization to exceed performance expectations.

ToolsGroup is a sponsor of the Gartner EMEA Supply Chain Conference and will exhibit at booth 606 showcasing how its service-driven planning automation helps companies overcome volatile demand and inventory challenges, leading to outstanding customer service levels and reduced global inventory.

“Companies today are trying to find a balance between profitability and exceeding customer expectations,” said Mauro Adorno, EU managing director for ToolsGroup. “ToolsGroup takes a fundamentally different approach by helping companies optimize service mix across products to maximize service and minimize inventory. As a result, our customers consistently see service levels increase while inventory, cost, and waste go down.”

On June 19 at 2:30 p.m., Sergio Bellacicco, vice president global logistics, automotive aftermarket at MANN+HUMMEL Group, will present “Increasing Fill Rate and Reducing Inventory in a Complex Global Multi-Echelon Aftermarket Environment”. MANN +HUMMEL is the global market leader in air filtration with products for automobiles, combine harvesters, compressors, ventilation and air conditioning systems and water treatment systems. In his presentation, Sergio will discuss how the company used AI-enhanced demand forecasting and multi-echelon inventory optimization to manage the complexity of slow-moving and seasonal items and slash inventory levels by 12 percent in less than three months.
