ToolsGroup was chosen for its project with Franke, a Swiss-based global supplier of solutions and equipment for domestic kitchens, private bathrooms, semi-/public washrooms, the professional foodservice sector, and coffee preparation.

ToolsGroup’s project with Franke
Franke, which operates in 40 countries, turned to ToolsGroup to improve forecasting, service levels and planner productivity, and unify the entire planning process. Deploying ToolsGroup’s Service Optimizer 99+ and integrating it with SAP ERP enabled Franke to receive reliable forecasts from all its markets, distribute the forecast efficiently through two echelons, and now expects to significantly improve inventory optimization and replenishment. Results included:
- Significantly improved forecasting process stability
- Significantly reduced time to execute forecasting and demand planning (50%)
- Increased forecast accuracy (8 MAPE points reduction at material level)
- Reduction of seasonal inventory peaks and related bullwhip effects
