Training
Introduction
Our training is designed to give the attendee an understanding of how to leverage the technology to assess the impact of change and opportunities for improvement in the supply chain.This is a three day course that will give the attendee hands-on, end-to-end exposure to the inventory optimization process.
Day 1 – Working Environment & Database: Introduction to the SO99+ Client/Server and SQL environment: building an integrated Inventory Optimization process in a multi-user context. Examining a real supply chain model.
Day 2 – Fundamentals of Inventory Optimization: Build familiarity with inventory optimization and supply chain modeling on SO99+: provide a framework for introducing more advanced process and modeling concepts.
Day 3 – Workshop: Provide the attendee with the opportunity to build scenarios and answer common questions on his own, using the instructor as a resource. Examine the tactical application of scenario output recommendations.
Who should attend?
Supply chain optimization practitioners and external/internal consultants. Attendees should have a basic understanding of inventory planning, replenishment and forecasting.Costs and Requirements
The course costs €1700 ($2400) per person. Price includes refreshments and lunch for the attendees during the course. Overnight accommodations are booked and paid for by the individual.Each attendee should bring a laptop with the following minimum configuration to use during the course:
- Multi-core processor (64 bit suggested)
- 2 GB RAM
- 20 GB available disk space
- XGA (1024 x 768) capable video board
- Available Parallel or USB port
- Software: Windows XP SP3 or above (64 bit suggested), SQL Server 2005 Express SP3 or above, .Net framework 3.5 SP1, Microsoft Access/Excel (suggested).
