Saloni has signed an agreement with Toolsgroup for the implementation of DPM for the planning operations of its manufacturing centre and distribution network.

Cerámica Saloni will implement Toolsgroup's DPM solution for planning operations across the supply chain. The agreement was signed by Saloni following the success of optimisation projects carried out by Toolsgroup as logistics consultant for Demand Planning Processes.

DPM technology was developed by Toolsgroup and will be utilised by Saloni for supply chain planning and Master Production Plan management, a key factor in the ceramics sector. By optimising the Supply Chain, forecasting operations are more accurate, stock levels are reduced, costs are contained and, as a result, clients are guaranteed higher service levels.

Toolsgroup has extensive supply chain experience planning as can be seen by its wide industry presence: chemical distributors, hardware, pharmaceutical, electrical appliance distributors, spare parts, construction, retail, fashion, etc. Toolsgroup has a strong client base including: Repsol, Nireo Corporación, Luxottica, Ferrari, Delphi, Casbega (Coca Cola), PC City, Castrol, and Hettich to name a few.

Founded in 1971 and constantly expanding, Cerámica Saloni is one of the leading ceramics manufacturers in Spain. Having headquarters in San Juan de Moró (Castellón), 240,000 mq of warehouse space and over 800 employees, Saloni is the forefront in design, quality and service.
